    '83 Suzuki GR650 "Tempter"

I finally got around to building a skid plate. I welded some nut to the back of a few tabs which then got welded to the frame as skid plate mounts I wanted it for the ice races this Sunday so I didn't have time to order 5052. I had to build it out of 6061 diamond plate because that was...

I don't have answers for your current questions, but PM me your email address if you need a wiring diagram. It took me a long time to find one for the US model CB400F.

    Get a cb400f running

here, try this: http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3367068719.html ...but seriously, if the engine died and your battery's dead then something in your charging system is not working, usually a bad generator or rectifier, but fix the wiring first. It might be a huge pain, but you will have lots...

    1975 Honda CB400 SuperSport Cafe - Colorado

Asking $2975. See the build thread here: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=41338.0 The bike runs and everything works. It could use some carb work. Battery and tires are brand new. The cafe conversion was done in the last two years and is a quality job. Post, PM, or email me...

    75 CB400F SuperSport

Today I installed new float valves in the carbs. It runs a little better and leaks a WHOLE lot less, but it could still use more carb work. It's time for this bike to move to its next owner. I'm happy that I got it put together and running. Now it needs someone who wants to spend more time...

    Project: "HonkyKong" 1979 KZ750 B Twin (brat-tracker-thingy)

There was some discussion about this on another site. I think you're supposed to add something like 3/8" for tire expansion, but more of the expansion is due to centripetal force than heat expansion. If hallon's ever in a situation where he has the wheel turned this far to the side at highway...

    Project: "HonkyKong" 1979 KZ750 B Twin (brat-tracker-thingy)

The starter button only operates the solenoid so it's only a couple amps. The one in the top picture looks like the kind available at RadioShack. I tried using a couple of those and they broke pretty quickly. The bottom on looks solid. I like these...

I pulled the oil pan last night and drilled out the broken part. Here's the damage to the piece I removed: Good as new: Unfortunately I found more damage while doing all of this:

I've got to agree with you there. The bike is such a blast in the dirt, but the 2.9" of rear travel is very limiting. Maybe some time in the future I can put one of the these engines in a real flat track frame...

    '83 Suzuki GR650 "Tempter"

Houston, we have a problem... So I went to PMI in Pueblo yesterday and found a great track to ride the GR on. Then I decided to push it down some more technical stuff. I came across an unexpected ditch where I could either hit the brakes hard, and probably have an ungraceful crash, or gas...

I don't have the money to keep up with the potential dry-cleaning bill so we're going to find out what happens when you machine-wash a suit.

I think the horizontal pipes looks better. Why are you swapping the shocks if the new ones are too short and too stiff?

Got the body panels on. The previous owner wasn't much of a mechanic, but he's pretty damn good with fiberglass and paint.
