    MINE V-Star

I LOVE THIS! I hate those big fat bikes and the only thing people ever seem to do with them is bolt more bullshit onto them. This looks awesome. How the hell were you able to get the tank dents smooth enough just using a hammer?

    CB750A secret bobber

Didn't like the look of the little 1.5" exhaust pipes. They looked way too little next to the big fat 750 motor. I cut the pipes at the 4-2 collectors and welded on two 1.75 pipes. Sounds fucking mean as hell.

Honda CA77 - My Dream Project - This may be a first

Wow! I would have bought that thing for the tank and motor and let the rest of it rot. Now I'm thinking this is gonna look amazing.

    CB750A secret bobber

I have lots of scrap laying around my garage, so I threw together a spring compressor based on the one Joe (can't remember his screen name) posted a picture of in the $50 mod thread. The ugly rear shock covers are finally off.

    CB750A secret bobber

I've decided I'm going to drop the back by stretching the swingarm, but I'm not sure what method I should use do drop the front. Anyone have any suggestions? I really want this thing slammed but still level.

    CB750A secret bobber

Thanks man. I made the seat pan from 16ga and welded some extra support where the seat bends. Then I had it professionally upholstered, since I'm going to spend a lot of time sitting on it. The tank is just about ready for paint. A little more sanding to go. It's the standard hondamatic tank...

    CB750A secret bobber

I'd like to take the covers off the shocks. I understand how to do it, I just don't know what to use to compress the spring.

    CB750A secret bobber

I'm going to fabricate a box swingarm about 3 inches longer than stock. The shocks are staying.

    CB750A secret bobber

Since I have nerve damage in my left leg and can't move my ankle, I need a motorcycle with the shift lever on the right side or with an automatic transmission. Since old brit bikes are a bit pricey, I went with the automatic option. Here's the bike. First thing to go was the bright purple paint...

    CB400A Hondamatic Bobber build.

I actually can't use my left leg because of nerve damage. I ride a bobbed cb750A with jockey shift to put it in gear.

    Tanks for a DOHC 750?

I've been looking for a tank that will fit my CB750 DOHC frame, and I'm not too thrilled with what I've found so far. I don't like the weird downward curved honda tank and I'm not crazy about the hondamatic tank either. I've used the search extensively but haven't been able to find a thread...

New jets for CB750 with pods and straight pipes

I know it's been covered. I'm not trying to waste anyone's time. I just wanted to ask directly since the 750 hondamatic motor is weird all around.

New jets for CB750 with pods and straight pipes

I've got pod filters and straight pipes on my CB750A and it's definetly running too lean. The stock main jet is a 102. How big should I go?

    CB750K swingarm on a 750A hondamatic?

I want to put a stretched swingarm on my CB750A, and the stock swingarm on the A is made of two stamped pieces welded together. That means it has a funky shape rather than just a tube, making it really difficult to stretch with traditional round slugs and tubing. Anyway, is there a more...

Looks good. Now you just sand and sand and sand and sand. ...and sand and sand some more :P. It'll be worth it though. Are you going to fiberglass over that or use it as a plug to make a mold?

On the basis of this thread, I have to assume if I started a build thread a bunch of girls would rush in and post semi-dirty replies.

CB360 overheating and locking up temporarily

Thanks interceptor. I think you're right about the bike running lean. I'm going to try some new air manifolds and switch from velocity stacks to filter pods. I'm suspecting the manifolds, because before I bought the bike from a friend, he ran the bike as it is now and didn't have any problems.
