I'm just using the bike for street. So Blake ...you got a set that will fit the CB450 for sure and are already jetted? ...How much are you looking to get for them? I'm really interested!
So I picked up a 78 CB400A with a blown motor, just last week I picked up a CM450 motor out of a 81 I believe but I need carbs now. So I did a little research and before I purchase them I wanted to make 100% sure that they will fit. Their Mikuni VM Carburetors size 34mm.
Please let me know...
Dude your a life saver, I will be on the look out for one of those for sure. Hopefully I can find one soon, best bet I have right now is a 79 cm400 for $275 but that sounds really high.

The inlet rubbers for what? I also saw they used a different camshaft? Hmmm ok well I can always buy a nice set of carbs later down the road but I need a bottom end asap so thanks for answering my question!
Are the top ends from all 78-79 CB400A's and CB400T's the same?
I can get a bottom end cheap and was wanting to swap it out with mine since I have the CB400A Hondamatic and my top end is fine.
