Im running pods and open exhaust and it runs really well. I do need to do some tweaking but the temp is pretty cool outside right now and Ill do most of my riding in the summer so Ill wait till normal riding temps before re jetting. Im sure Ill get a litle more response with bigger jets, but it...
I need to rebuild the front shocks, one side is completely out. Starter button is a push button located under the seat. Nice and hidden. Um leathers and boots? Im hoping for a jacket for Christmas, im not so sure about boots.
I made the seat. I just reshaped the stock foam with an electric turkey carving knife, Laid 1/2" foam over it, purchased some water proof suede from a material shop and took it to an auto trim shop and let them re cover it.
Yeah, its actually pretty cold today. Its like 61 and sunny. I just got back from getting my hair cut. It feels really good in the sun on the bike. : ;D
And this is how I did it
Take some fuel line, cut to length to wrap all the way around tube, insert wire tie, pull tight with pliers, pull boot over fuel line. A water tight fit.
OK, let me start off by saying that I in no way think anyone should ever have a blue tooth bob in their ear at any time. It looks absolutely retarded. It IS NOT cool. They were created so you could talk on the phone while using your hands for something else. This means if you are in the grocery...
Looks awesome. I am running pods as you know and straight exhaust on the factory spec'd carbs. I haven't re jetted yet but I do read my plugs and all is well. I am not running lean or rich for that matter. I'm sure you will probably see an increase in power and I would imagine it would be...
OK, I didnt mean to make the rotor drilling a big deal, I just had nothing to go from when I did mine so it took some learning. I will give some helpful tips though. First, and obvious, use a drill press.
Second, mark out all the places you are going to drill with a sharpie or any permanent...
Also, to add to the folk gaiter thing. I wanted to run different headlight ears but also wanted gaiters. I was stumped on how I would hold the gaiters up and a wire tie just bunched it up and made it look really crappy. So a friend of mine on the spot came up with this awesome idea. He took a...
Its looking sweet man. I love the personal style it has. Not a copy of anyone else's. Theres allot to say for doing your own thing. Also when someone says something wont look good, do it anyway!! Thats why my frame is gold. LOL
Ok, heres the story. I'm not sure what bit me but I decided in April of this year I needed a project. My brother in law, father in law and friend all have bikes. Nothing I like, but I loved riding them. SO I looked and looked and I loved the look of the old triumphs, BSAs and similar bikes. I...
thanks for the compliments. Yes, it is much easier than one would think. Taking your time is the most important part though. I used a wedding card as a stencil for the design. I wanted something one off so I went with it. I like to be original. I put the tank back on my bike tonight and it looks...
Ok Im finished. Heres the pictures in one lump sum from start to finish. I just need to work on laying the pin stripe better. Much more difficult than I expected.
The beginning. I only used the bigger rubber mallet in the picture
This is after the beatings ceased
After using the flapper...
