Reconfigured the clip-ons the other day per Crazy PJs direction, after he adjusted my front brake and we added fork oil to the forks. Once he’s finished with the carbs I’ll swap them out and be rrady for some longer rides.
Wiring wasn't too bad. Just now turned everything on and it works! I need to adjust the angle of the grips/controls, then adjust the front brake cable. May do that tomorrow if I have time.
Valuable information! Thanks! I’ll be working on these this weekend. Work has me by the balls this week so I’m barely able to do more than look at the bike in passing right now.
No, I didn’t rebuild and clean these carbs. I had someone do it for me and I think you’re correct. The good news is that PJ is rebuilding and modifying my spare/parts carbs.
I found the other float online. I believe these are early mode carbs. I also found a site that sells jets for modified bikes.

I took the pods off and she ran a little better without an air filter. I’ll have to play with everything...
Bike is now running but the idle is low (sub 1k). Pistons are Bore-tech 65.5mm and this is essentially a new bike. I’ll post a video tomorrow morning if anyone is interested. Not sure if I’ll need new jets or something else.
