what size? i have a couple spares i think they're 6 inches round. they're off a cb450 so the holes are on the side. the hole in the back was widened to fit some extra wires but it's in decent shape

I've been thinking of picking up a flux core welder just to have in the garage, are they versatile enough to use on a bike? I wasn't sure what kind of setup to get and it seems like flux core is the more price friendly, I just wasn't sure what the differences would be.

i couldn't find a set of circ clip pliers that were long and skinny enough to get to the clip unless it was online but the prices were pretty steep. I went with a Ninja front brake setup instead

well considering the roads in pennsylvania never have any potholes and are kept to autobahn-esque standards i think i'll be fine! on second thought, maybe i'll just cut a little off the tail...

Anyone have any issues running no rear fender? I have a cut down front fender but I'm debating on what to do with the rear fender. I like the look of no rear fender, just not sure what the implications would be to the battery and air filters, etc. (also, my bike is a 74 cb450 k7)

NICE! I used to have a red one like that when I was a kid for my dad's bike. I think it may still be buried in my parents basement somewhere.

Hey now, So after discovering an oil leak from my cylinder head gasket (I don't know if that's the correct term for it or not but I'm going with it) I figure it's time to pull the cylinders and have them honed. Anyone know of a good shop in the PHL area that can do them for a reasonable price...

I had this issue once and had to either push the shift rod in or pull it out a little bit and it worked. i got lucky mine was just off a little bit. I'd mess with that and then get into the clutch.

I'd love to replace the entire front end. Any specific year I should look for?

So the Ninja 250 caliper will fit on the original 74 Cb450 rotor?

I have a 74 Cb450 K7 with a busted front brake system. The master cylinder is bad, the caliper is stuck and the bleeder screw is broken. My question is, does anyone know of any modern systems that would be compatible to this bike? I'm looking to swap out everything from the rotor to the master...

Nice. Let me know when you're running or if you need a hand. My bike is still coming together. I'm trying to sort out some carb issues, until then I won't be on any roads except the block around my house to work out the kinks.

I'm not far from the city at all. I'm right off Baltimore pike which runs straight down into Penn. I usually take that whenever I need to get into the city. There are some nice roads further out west in Delco but where I am the streets are a mess right now. I just stick to the neighborhood for now.

Sorry, I meant the Philly suburbs. Living in Delaware County for 30 years you just assume everyone knowd "Delco" because chances are, they've never been anywhere else!
