Great info and thanks for the reply! Do I have to worry about either type of resin making a chemical reaction with the plastic? I know it gets warm when you're adding hardener to the resin.

I did it once on a mag wheel and had to do it twice because I pinched/popped a tube. I'll stick to just doing sportbike tires :). That being said, who do you guys use to toss on tires/tubes on wire wheels?(85 Rebel)

Sorry for not updating the tread. 4cyl, Rear wheel/swing arm is gone, and so is one side of the front brakes. I believe the right caliper and bracket are on, and the left caliper is the one missing. Both rotors are there and in good shape, regular mag wheel.

New to me today 1985 Rebel 250, looking for some advice on how to clean the engine and maybe the chrome. Sure I could just pull it and repaint, but it'd like to see what cleaning would do first :). Thoughts on what or not to use on the outside of the engine? If anyone has any good products...

I wasn't able to get a 1000 to work on my KZ750. At least, it wasn't a bolt on affair and I opted to stop there than invest more time in making one work. Just ended up going with a MAC exhaust from one of my suppliers and I will be welding on a Yoshimura muffler instead.
