with the bike on the center stand, if you can feel any side to side wiggle in the rear wheel it`s time to change them. it made a HUGE improvement on my bike. to clarify how quickly they wear, my bike had 14,000 miles on it when I did them and they were SHOT.

Heres another lil tidbit, if the offending screw is still being stubborn try putting a dab of valve grinding compound on the tip of the impact driver bit. It works, trust me.

Heres my solution so far, its a cheep trailer lamp mounted to a "fabbed" peice of alu angle stock this light is brake/tail. The sidemount plate has an LED that is only lit for tail, the plate lights are those plate bolts that have an LED in them. Not everyones cup o tea but it works for me. More...
