So Ive been restoring and TRYING to bring my bike back to at least rideable conditions(1980 GS450). Its just now finally running and I go to change the oil and filter and when I went to reinstall everything I realized not only that the oil drain plug was stripped(not too worried about that one)...
I picked up my bike a couple weeks ago and have been troubleshooting and fixing/learning as I go. Started off with a new battery. Checked the stator and regulator. All within spec and in working order to the best of my knowledge and she ran okay for a little while but rpms would go up and down...
I hate the fact that the Suzuki emblem on my bike is a sticker. I saw while reading SOMEONES build a picture of one where the sticker was removed and the lip was sanded down and polished to a mirror finish....Now I can't find the picture or post for the life of me! Someone please help! haha
