Rearsets for GN125? Really need to know before I start.(pictures of bike)

Fair do's, bro. I just don't really understand the concept of what needs to be done in terms of creating a rear set, especially for my 125. Kind of need the info spoon feeding to me.

Rearsets for GN125? Really need to know before I start.(pictures of bike)

Hi mate. Yeah I was thinking about that and have ridden using the rear pegs. Feels fine and I quite like having my feet that far back. Feel like a real racer ha! How would I get the linkage?

Rearsets for GN125? Really need to know before I start.(pictures of bike)

Any ideas or suggestions would be cool. Even if I have to have them made for the bike, would be better than not having a café racer. Have some good ideas for engine tuning too!

Rearsets for GN125? Really need to know before I start.(pictures of bike)

I'm going ahead with plans to turn my Suzuki GN125 into a café race. Not the best bike to start with, but it's all I've got and all the law will allow me to have (stupid UK bike laws!!). Basically I want to know if it's possible to fit rear sets to this bike model, because without them there...

125cc donor bike??? Really need some advice.

Sounds like a pretty cool bike, man! BTW there is a Suzuki GN125 not too far from me, but I take it they are hard to turn into café racers?

125cc donor bike??? Really need some advice.

Cheers! The sky team ace looks pretty decent, but I've heard loads of bad stuff about Chinese bikes. I'd like to build the bike myself though for the satisfaction. I could pick up a really decent running cg125 for about £700.

125cc donor bike??? Really need some advice.

Due to UK bike laws I can only ride a 125cc for a while, well 2 years until I'm 19. I have a ybr125cc at the moment that I ride about on, but want to start a café project. Was thinking of maybe a Honda cg125 as they can be had quite cheaply. I want to add a rear set and clip on bars, so I'll...

    GN125 Cafe Racer help

Hey Guys, I've come into the possession of a GN125 and have decided to make it my first café project. I just need some basic pointers really. I want to turn this into a full café racer over time including fitting a rear set, but I want to take it slow to start with and get the basics done. Where...

How much for a runner? Help appreciated.

How much should I be looking to pay for a running bike that could later be turned into a café racer? I'm on the A2 licence, so nothing over 47bhp. It will be my first bike so I need it in good running order, but I don't want anything modern looking if possible. The plan would be to buy a nice...

Complete Newbie from England looking for advice

Thanks for the advice, really appreciated!!! Yeah it's the A2 licence so 47bhp max. While I'm only 22, I hate anything modern looking (especially when it comes to cars and motorbikes!). So because of that my plan is to get something more retro looking and then just slowly make changes as I go...

    Hello from England

Thanks Yorkie! My plan is pretty simple; buy a gn125 or 250, change the seat and add clip on bars with bar end mirrors. And that's pretty much it for my first bike. Wont touch the engine or add a rear set, or do anything too complicated. I don't want to get all optimistic and then wreck the bike!

    Hello from England

22 year old saying hi! Been riding since January this year and looking to start building a café racer. I want to start small though. Thinking of a Suzuki gn250 and going from there.

Complete Newbie from England looking for advice

Thanks for the advice. I'll get a good 3 months of non-stop riding in before I start making changes to the bike. I mean I've been riding since January on a provisional licence, so I understand a bit about bikes. Would a Suzuki GN250 make a good donor bike? I've seen a few nice examples on the...

I've been thinking about a Suzuki GN250. It's going to be a very basic project as this will be my first bike.
