Re: 1974 BMW R60/6 here in the german airhead-forums people complain about the acewell too - it seems to have troubles connecting properly with the bmw. i use a motogadget tiny, no problems at all (but only if you connect the cable for the charging-light with a 47ohm/5watt resistor)
