    DIY Powder Coating Oven

Amazing! I'm on a tight budget so this is interesting to me. I think insulation is very important, when you don't have to worry about loosing heat you can focus on getting more heat. A fan sounds like a good idea too, but I don't know how complex that would be?

    Custom Cafe Virago 920 $4750

It's pretty nice to be fair but too much for here. Make your own brand logo slap it on there, call yourself a custom bike builder and sell it to someone with a loose wallet.

Lets hear your thoughts on why bikes are better than girls

Because bikes aren't f****** mentally unstable. They don't talk about absolute crap that women feel like they need to say because for some reason they're afraid of not closing their mouth for 10 minutes. Bikes don't ask for much, and what they ask for is pre-determined, once you give a woman...

1982 Yamaha XJ750 Seca "Evil Twin"

Sorry for bumping a dead thread, but I'm just curious to what the outcome was? I just bought an XJ750 Cafe.

    Velocity stacks?

I was thinking of stacks that curve around the frame so they're forwards facing creating some forced induction. In a small way similar to triumph's speed fours intake snorkels

    Velocity stacks?

I'm not sure what you're trying to get across. After someone said that stacks will damage the engine because it won't have filters. I was saying it would go through a filter.

    Velocity stacks?

Well the idea was to have some filters like pods and have them inside the stacks. I might just keep the stock airbox with a decent filter and in the future might have a go with velocity stacks on every carb, I'll have a look for that Honda manual.

    Velocity stacks?

So I know it's not classic cafe style, but I'm in between using the stock airbox and going for pod filters, but with the central pods on an IL4 getting less intake than the outer pods I was thinking of just having some small velocity stacks poking out and going to the central carbs. Question...

    Young meat

Damn, I worded that badly.. I'm not like many people my age, I actually feel like a grumpy old man. I'm not saying I'm not liable to a bit of "fun" but I don't ride like an idiot. (I just did BikeSafe and got B's and A's, said I could pass a RoSPA at my current standard, though I assume he...

    Young meat

Not my first bike, and I have ridden quite a few big bikes (Biggest being a tuned Bandit 1200 with 125RWHP) I wasn't expecting to get quite 80, but that's just what I think is ideal. I know some mechanics, I've helped with a top end rebuild before, and done the odd bits on my current GPZ500. I...

    Young meat

Hey everyone, I'm Lewis from Cardiff, South Wales (UK). I'm pretty young, 18 in 2 months time. I want to build a cafe racer perfect for me, a slight bit modern, but nothing tacky like most customs people would label as 'modern' Only problem is as a student my budget is very very low. I'm...
