    Need: 1978 CB750 F3 Intake Rocker Shaft

This shaft goes through the rocker arms, and is supported by the aluminum "cam towers". Every year SOHC CB750 had these shafts, earlier years were slightly different in design. Let me know.

    CL350 seized engine

I matched up 2 in-spec cyilnders, and 2 in-spec pistons. Won't have to get pistons after all!

    CL350 seized engine

Is there anyone that built a 350 engine that can advise me on pistons?

    CL350 seized engine

I finally got around to measuring both my original CL350 engine and the spare CB350 engine. I honed the cylinder before taking measurements, to remove rust and also to take note of any out-of-round spots. There was a cracked cylinder in the CL, which was a result of BEATING the seized pistons...

    CL350 seized engine

I wore myself out beating the piston that was seized. Unfortunately the spare CB350 engine was seized as well. It had to be driven out as well.

Nice find! Another cool, small displacement bike.

    CL350 seized engine

I did see that. A guy did it on a BSA engine that had been sitting for 40 something years. I figure the slow, uncompressed burn of the fluid will not harm the engine. Another trick I want to try is smack the piston with a wooden dowel or hammer handle. Gently of course.

    CL350 seized engine

Thanks, Rich. I did penetrant oil, ATF, Acetone, and Engine oil. (at different times) It's pretty dang seized. I took the top "acorn" nuts off the top of the valve cover, and then cranked the generator bolt. The pistons are seized so much that is was actually lifting the cylinders/head off...

    CL350 seized engine

Kick starter doesn't move at all. I managed to break the bolt that holds the generator in place. Looks like I'm pulling the complete engine now! Here's a visual aid of the complete bike.

    CL350 seized engine

That's my next step, remove the cover to look for any loose objects. Shouldn't the gear stay in place when the starter is removed?

    CL350 seized engine

I got a complete 1969 CL350 with a seized engine. I need some input from CL/CB twin gurus. It had been sitting for an unknown number of years, so I figured the pistons were seized in the cylinders. I haven't ruled that out. I removed the starter just to see if it was maybe stuck, causing the...

    TX CB750F

You can see a few changes between the first and second pics (before and after). I chopped and lowered the seat. Shortened the overall length about 2 inches. Then took out material for a lower/sleeker seat cushion. It probably needs rearsets with the low clubman bars, or handlebars that are...
