I am aiming to get there when the gates open Saturday to take advantage of the on site parking. All on my lonesome on the little CB250n. I will most certainly say hello :) Graham

    CB250n Brat/Tracker our first build

Hi Mattbarber, I am glad you asked the question as the bike has been running like shit and you nudged me into doing something about it. Up until now I have been running the bike with 1/4 choke as it just dies without it. Uneven running and needing to keep it revving over 2k. So today I took the...

I made the seat base last week as the original is just a frame encapsulated in the moulded foam. Two layers of glass and some resin, job done. Also made a second number plate out of a piece of tin, I don't know if it originally had two but the mounting brackets seam to be there.

Kempton park Motorcycle Jumble Sat 25/01/14

Now you have me worried, also I have been asked to look out for anything for early Kawasaki triple 500 & 700 two strokes for a guy at work. I believe he has been checking behind rocking horses for an early scaloped tank. If I have to pop home for the van, so be it.

    1980 CB250n from Australia

Good advice with the pod filters Nicko, I am still not 100% happy with mine but I am a sucker for the clean lines. Mines all done bar the gauges. Graham

Yes I am enjoying it even though nothing very taxing, once finished I aim to sell or swap for a new project more my size. Alternativley a Z50 would be a bit of fun as a great little bike in there day.

Tank and mudguards painted this week and tank transfers arrived from USA. I warmed them up before applying to make sure of a good fit on the curves. Just waiting on the handlebars and fork stanchions to come back from chrome and she is nearly there.

The seat and base are completely shot so I am making a fibre glass base, then new foam and cover.

I have ordered new tank decals today, expected mid January as comming from USA. So the tank and mudguards will be painted in the next couple of weeks. I matched the colour with a spectromiter, it came up with a Peugeot colour EAZ, used on early 205's. The plan is for the project to be...
