Im just gonna drill out the screw head. Hopefully there will be enough of the screw left after I remove the resi cap that I can trap it with some pliers and unscrew them. Then I can just replace the screws and keep the MC. But it on the bench , clean it and paint it once I get the screws out as...

Yeah Im keeping everything . My reservoir works and is full , I just have stripped screw heads that hold the top plate on and already tried the rubber band scenario to no avail. Figured I would just change the handle/brake reservoir/cylinder do hicky.

So my 83 GR650X tempter ... ugh , tempter name , needs a new front brake handle/reservoir/etc. What other models ,like GS will fit the banjo bolt? Looking on ebay and other places there are tons of aftermarket styles and Im liking the white plastic cylinder look . Just dont know if the banjo...

Had the tire / wheel checked and 1 said ... wheel , the other said .. tire. Tire guy is my "mech" and he said if new tires dont fix it , he will restring it for free . I figured that was good incentive. Well that and the fact that the tires on it , the ones that came with it , are knobby enduro...

Went with 4 3/8th holes in each muffler and sounds just raspy enough now. These bikes are so damn quiet stock .... Loud Pipes ya know ;) Still considering cutting out the center bar in the middle of the moto bars on the bike .

Thanx for the info Rich. Front suspension is dialed and tire pressure is proper - gotta be the outta round front tire then. I put a newer speedo cable in and when I did that I lubed it . Didn't lube the tach cable though and I dont know how to lube the cluster . When you say drill holes around...

Oh quick other Q's . Bike is way to quiet in my opinion . Any down sides to taking the baffles out of the pipes ? Will the lack of back pressure screw it up , performance wise ?
