    The SkyTeam 'Ace' Resource

Hi all. My thoughts are that an Ace specific forum or area of DTT would be a good place to sort out posts via topic. This thread is getting BIG. On another note, a while ago when i 1st bought my ACE i was doing some searches on the net, trying to track down any spare part, "performance" parts...

Took the bike out for a test today with the new carb set-up. Id have to say its perfect. Not sure what size jets are in it. Attached are the links to where i got both the carb and velocity stack if anyone is interested. Molkt 26mm Carb...

    SkyTeam Ace 125

So, another tiny update. Added some numbers to the side race plate. 334 which my Dad used to race under, seen below giving it a bit. Also, i wasn't having much luck with the Mikuni 22mm carb i bought. Was just real gutless. I had tried everything (jets/needle/air screw/different filters etc)...

Not much doing of late. Finally got around to adding a side oval number plate that i had bought before i even got the bike. (not sure if the link worked?) I thinks is better now.

Chris, That is exactly the same one i bought, and then bolted onto the pipe. I found the CAT a pain to get out. Managed to work a flat blade down the side around it.

SKYTEAM ACE custom header - group buy!!!

Count me in 100%!! I saw those being sold a little while back, but didn't get hold of one before they were removed. Currently Im running a stock pipe, chopped at the back of the cat, with the cat itself removed, then i have a straight through muffler. I just don't have the length required to...

    SkyTeam Ace 125

Hi Sean, I'm 6'2'' and heading towards 90kg. I'm fine with the way the bike fits me. It's the only one I've had, so i know no better. Sure, the bike is low, narrow and small. Sure, i probably look too big for it. But the amount of fun you'll have with it, and the amount of random people that...

Thanks stroker crazy. I've been checking your Ace Resource daily. It's great to see everyones builds, ideas and comments! Earlier in the piece i read about the exhaust guide you had used. Sonreir's Exhaust tips http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=39814.60 Especially the bit about the...

    SkyTeam Ace 125

So a little update on the STA125 I made it through my P's course recently, so another 12 months and i will have a full licence with no restrictions! ;D I did my course on a CBR125r (as the STA125 would have been not allowed cause its a wee bit noisy - for some) Was only the 2nd bike ive ridden...

    SkyTeam Ace 125

SkyTeam Ace 125 Thanks stroker crazy, ill check that too. Speaking of trouble with the blinkers. Riding around for a few days after picking up my new bike, I was over all the cars honking at me or overtaking me on regular suburban roads for no reason. Then, one day at a set of lights I was...

Thanks for the info Just Dan, I think it may be an issue with the actual bulb socket fitting. Last night i pulled the lens off and after a bit of a push back into the socket and a twist to the right, the bulb was working, both Hi and Low. The Pilot also was not working unless the main was in and...

Got around to installing the 34 tooth rear sprocket from OORacing.com this weekend. http://www.ooracing.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=4213 Some external cir-clip pliers were very handy for getting the old sprocket off and the new one installed. Also 1 tip regarding removing a link...

Hi All, 1st post, so be kind. Ive had my SkyTeam Ace 125 for just under 12 months now, but only recently have i found DTT and a couple of threads about some other members SkyTeam Ace builds. I thought it might be time i start documenting what I'm up to, and converse with other STA lovers...

    Ace125 v2.0 (First re-build)

Loving the thread Tim, keep up the great postings. I'm a fellow Ace owner. Had it almost 12 months now, and love it. Also been following the postings of "stroker crazy" and "Just Dan". Your all doing great work! I'll have to post some of my own mods, but so far I've just done the typical. EGR...
