Would it be worth parting out my 1980 CX500C?

Bike runs, but not perfectly. Its a mostly complete bike, its missing gauges and one of the side covers. Would anyone be interested in parts or should I unload the bike wholesale for whatever I can get it for (currently listed at 400 on craigslist)

Hey Carb Wizards re: VM28 on CB360

I haven't messed with Mikuni's before. Just the Keihin units on my cx500 and triumph. Thanks again for any help and if anyone is holding any parts they wanna let go, I would probably be interested in picking them up from you, as well.

Hey Carb Wizards re: VM28 on CB360

I have a couple VM28 carb bodies lying around. No slides tops or jets. I want to throw them on my cl360 project, anyone have some jumping off points for slide and jet sizes? Thanks.

    1975 CL360

Sorry, no real updates yet. Moved to VT over the winter and have had the bike in storage. Last this before I left was getting Joe at Zito's Vintage Cycle in Gloucester city to make a custom seat pan for it, which covers up the ugly fuel tank mount. The finished seat should look great...

    VM30 L & R carb choke setup help, please.

I was planning to use two carbs for two cylinders, I hadnt even considered using a single carb for both. Triumph 650 used one single 30mm Amal carb, I dont see why I couldnt run a single 28 on my two cylinder 360. With the proper jetting of course.

    VM30 L & R carb choke setup help, please.

thanks for posting up those pics. Problem is, I've learned these are actually vm28s off of a Yamaha Banshee. I am gonna make them work, though. One carb has a choke and its linked to an enrichment port on the other, which has no real choke.

    Has anyone adapted vm28's to a 360/350?

One carb has a choke the other just has an enrichment port. I believe they came off of a yamaha banshee. Any information would be awesome.

Any honda tank that will fit on a cl360 that is not the 360 tank.

Just want a larger or different than stock tank. cb350f would be great.

    VM30 L & R carb choke setup help, please.

I need to get new tops and slides, they were missing anyway. I think the one carb is just an enrichment port, and not an actual choke.
