I bought a used rear hub for parts. I need to disassemble the hub, but can't figure out how to remove the rear brake arm from the camshaft. It somehow needs to be spread some to slide off the camshaft.
Is there a tool that can spread it?
On my rear hub, I'm missing the rear brake camshaft, rear brake arm, linkage rod, and the rod joint pin. I do have the rear stabilizer bar, the brake plate and hub. I have not opened the hub to make sure the shoes are there yet.
Question is, are there any other parts I need to be able to connect...
Recently new to forum. Purchased project bike from Deviant1 of Gulf Shores. It is a 1971 CB350, partially converted to Cafe Racer. Tank needs painting. Seat needs finishing and attachment. Rear sets need attaching and may have to be replaced (kind of clunky mounting brackets, not sure of maker)...
