    1984 XJ650 Seca Project...

Minor update on project... Didn't get to work on it as much as I would have liked this winter due to finances plus busy school schedule. The bike was actually torn apart the day I took this photo, pieced it together for a quick spin before I had to leave home for the summer. Unfortunately...

    1984 XJ650 Seca Project...

Been lurking pretty hard on XJbikes... good to know about the filters, I guess i'll be sticking with the stock airbox. Really the first things i'm going to do is carb clean, new brake lines (and pads probably, they are squeeking pretty bad), and just make sure it is running solid. The last...

    1984 XJ650 Seca Project...

'84 according to he guy I bought it from. Gonna try and get as much riding in as I can for now. Then strip it down and rebuild during the long Montana winter. Motor seems solid, though carbs could use some tuning since it came from Portland i.e. sea level and is now at 5000 ft. But my first...

anybody here into high end denim jeans?

(sorry, post happened while typing this) Not really (justification for hand made goods)... its just that sometimes if you want something with a little more substance, you sometimes have to pay a premium. The thing about having nice japanese denim is that most of the time, you're the only person...

anybody here into high end denim jeans?

There is a difference in "high-end" jeans that most people think of, and the jeans the o.p. was talking about. Being a denim geek, I will shed some insight, even if all of ya'll could give a rat's ass about expensive jeans. Back in the day, Levi's produced their denim (or rather Cone Mills in...

    Bad press at cb750f.com

Some people like to hack their bikes up... see what they can make of them. Others don't. It's a shame people have to be negative nancy's one way or the other. To each his own, and try not to give a sh*t what others think. If people are gonna be that close-minded on that forum, I wouldn't...

anybody here into high end denim jeans?

I am a self-professed denim head. A.P.C., EP's by Epaulet (cone mills denim... should definitely check out), Naked & Famous, Crate, 3sixteen all in my closet. Can't afford sugar cane, PBJ, other japanese brands generally given my budget and desire to spend money on other things. Pic from my...

    CB360 Project

That is an awesome bushing installation method... I just ordered some bronze bushing and will hopefully be getting by frame and swingarm painted this week so that is actually really helpful. Looking forward to seeing how this build comes together.

First Project ~ '74 CB360 aka "The Tortoise"

Thanks for the advice on the cam chain guide/tensioner. I am going to tear the motor apart to replace all gaskets etc. so this will get done also. I've lurked here enough to have found out that there is both little aftermarket support for the 360, and that the 350 stuff doesn't cross-over...

First Project ~ '74 CB360 aka "The Tortoise"

So I've been dreaming of building up a bike for a while, however being a poor college student in Bozeman Montana left limited options for bikes available and in my price range. Until this gem showed up on craigslist... '74 CB360, non-running but good compression (no battery, rectifier...

JULY 2010 BIKE OF THE MONTH - WINNER!

I'll probably start a build thread this weekend. The bike is already about torn down to the frame, but I took some "before" pics first. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I get deeper into to the build. Especially because I plan to bore it out...

    Cheers from Bozeman Montana

Hey ya'll, been lurking around here and just thought i'd introduce myself. Recently picked up a beater '74 CB360 that i'm completely tearing down and re-building. My first project, so may sound pretty ambitious, but I have pretty good mechanical knowledge (Mechanical Engineering student and...
