I actually took my carbs to a machine shop and they fixed them for around $30... they were in pretty good shape but now they are looking really good. Hopefully they will work! We are almost done with the bikes re-wiring so hopefully it will be running in a few weeks.

Re: 1977 XS750 to XS885D - What's it worth? Looking to sell. I am so close to cranking up my xs750... i can't wait. But yea, your attention to detail is insane. I would definitely hold onto it until someone offered an outrageous offer... definitely would not just settle and hand it off.

Re: 1977 XS750 to XS885D - What's it worth? Looking to sell. I would easily pay $5,000 for that bike... if I had $5,000 I wouldn't even be writing this, I would be on my way to your place pulling a trailer.

Ha, I was going to go black with blood red accents to match the blood red seat. Eventually do some red handle wraps, kick, and pegs too. But the main color will be black. I was thinking about a blood red stripe down the center but i cant make my mind up.

I really tried... but the stock ignition has a bracket on the bottom that cannot be removed... at least not by me. I made a simple mount and it fits perfect. Good news is that when the key is in the ignition it is flush and does not stick out the top and get in the way.

Update: Relocated the push start and ignition for the bike... put them where the old handle bar hole mounts used to be... i think it looks frikin awesome. Insanely lucky though, both the button and ignition fit perfect.
