I have a '74 XL350 flat track bike, that doesn't have a battery anymore. I want to check the timing, but not sure how to do it if i don't have a battery to use a timing light with.

Been working on this bike for a few months and decided I might as well do a build thread.
I bought this bike a few months ago, to give either Vintage MX or Flat Track a try. I decided to go with flat track for now. I'll build an MX bike later.

I am putting a Barnes Quick change hub on my flat track bike, but I can't seem to find the correct bearing size.
My 1969 DT1b has the stock rear axle which is 15mm. The old bearing I pulled out of my Hub had a 47.6mm OD.
The bearing size I am looking for is
15mm ID x 47.6mm OD x 12/13mm Wide...
Got this tank as part of a deal, and am curious if anyone recognizes it. It is HUGE and my guess is 7+ gallons. The tank is made of Fiberglass.
I can get better photos of it later, but this is all I have for now.

So I have been playing with my ultrasonic cleaner, and when cleaning carbs I have been getting a white residue after cleaning. This has happened with White Vinegar and Heavy Duty Simple Green.
Anyone have any experience with this?
So I just picked this bike up last week, and I am going to be taking her to 2-stroke Extravaganza, and entering her in for the judging.
So I have less than 3 weeks to get her running properly, and to fix her imperfections.
