Hi, Shepherds huts were traditionally used by upland shepherds during the lambing season so they could always be on hand for tricky births and to keep an eye out for foxes. They have now become a classy alternative to a caravan, but are not designed to be towed large distances, only really...

Thanks for understanding TJ! It's better built and insulated than a Wimpey/Barrat house, although that's not hard! I've amassed everything for the wood burner to go in next, it's going to be bloody snug in the winter. This is the trailer as I bought it at auction, it's a 3 ton plant trailer. We...

It's taking a while to fit out the interior but nearly there. I have it temporarily in a field next door to suss out the ergonomics of it. Slept in it last night during a pretty full on westerly gale and it was getting hit broadside. No rattles, no leaks, slept like a lamb :)

Hey y'all Apologies for the radio silence. Having dragged the outfits out in to the sunshine a month ago and starting to think about pressing on ....... another long long term project came into being. For years I've wanted to build a shepherds hut, and for the past year I've been quietly...

I went for a month or so not being full on ill, but just not feeling right, looking back now I think it was a low level virus. Then it properly kicked in an every time I thought I'd shaken it off, it came right back and bit me in the ass.

Hi TJ, Yep all ok. It's been a grim old winter and I had to put everything on hold. Was ill over December and January with the god dammed boomerang flu which took away all my enthusiasm. Compounded by not being able to get out the weather into the workshop because the farmers son has got a car...

Kitchen tables were designed to rebuild engines on. As a child we shared supper for a while next to a V8 my father was rebuilding :)

Yep they will flex like spaghetti in every conceivable direction, however, even a steel mudguard will go a long way to mitigate it, and you have lugs available on the fork lowers to use. The more you can make the front suspension system work as a solid unit will pay dividends. If one side moves...

1.20.17 the end for us all?

Conversely there are a lot of us around the world breathing a huge sigh of relief that a person who WOULD definitely do harm to the world and HAS a track record of it, lost.

FIRST BIKE EVER 1982 KZ440 LTD HELP ME!

What Von Yinzer said, other than point 14. Should read 'a lot of beer' Don't mess with the carburation system, those carbs need a reservoir of still air to work properly. Once running and road worthy, only make changes / do work that can be completed in a day, so the default state of the bike...

Are you keeping the 21" front wheel or downsizing? Thoroughly recommend a fork brace when you get to that juncture. (Not that the front end will spend much time down on the Tarmac lol)

Thanks TJ, inspiration is needed. The nearest I've come is by cutting up an old poly bath, however apart from it being too brittle, it was too flat at the front. I need the height to give the passenger some sense of security on the road. Although I know now how the front grab rail will work, I...

I've had to modify the upper shock mounts on the forks to fit the new shocks, one step forward two steps back! The new mudguard is going to work well I think. However I'm completely stuck on the whole nose cone issue for the chair. I need it to be at least the same height as the mudguard. Any...
