Been searching around for the shortest handlebar risers I can find. Can't use my tall risers as my bikes rake makes them hit the tank when turning . I have seen 1" short risers but is that as short as it gets? -Schmeck

So my handlebar risers take a 3/8" bolt while my springer takes a 1/2"-20 thread bolt. I cannot find any adapter to put these risers to the springer. Would boring the riser bottoms to except the 1/2"-20 stud be safe? Would welding the tops of two bolts together for the opposite ends be safe ...
