    What if the tensioners look to be in rather decent shape? I don't know about the push bar but the roller liked alright when I pulled it out. And how do I go about seeing if the cam is in spec?

    I'm pretty sure they deleted the starter in the models after 1970. The K0's had a starter, but K1 and up didn't.

    So, I was just looking at the bike today and I noticed the motor had a different serial number than the frame. Turns out I have a SL350 K0 motor on a CL350 K2 frame.

    You might be right, but I know when I was trying to reassemble the control, it was shorting the starter cable out.

    The fuse fixed the electrical problem. Luckily I still had the fuse in the other harness.

    You know, I was just in the shower and thought of that as well. I guess I'll have to look into that as well as a pipe cap to close off the electric starter hole. Do you have to shorten any chains when you do that?
