Engine is completely dissassembed, head is ready for new guides and all new parts. Had the cylinders bored out to 836 ccs over at cycle exchange and when i stop off to pick it up( i ive about an hour from there) Ken is going to go over parts to put in and assembly advice. Got...
Hey Sonic, mine arrived and looks great. The guy at the post office couldnt believe they let you ship it out the way it was. The box didnt make the journey that well lol.
It is a brand new soda blasting setup with soda blaster material, not the ag supplement so shouldnt be any sand in it. I'll just cover up the gasket surfaces to be safe I guess.
Yeah the blue tank is much too small for the 750 frame. I found some pictures of other people knee denting the 78 tank that looked good so once I get the courage up I'm going to dent the tank. I got my engine case split yesterday so next step there will be to take my new harbor freight soda...
This will be a slow log of my cb750 cafe project. The project began last summer when I had my dad pick up a 1978 cb750k that someone had already torn apart to begin building a cafe racer.
Can anyone ID what type of gas tanks came with this bike?
