Anyone got a picture of what they use for their fuel filler cap gasket... I put a thick rubber on mine.. sealed it really well, not a spill came out. BUT it starved my carburettor of fuel!! Is that even possible? Tried it on two separate runs to work and with the rubber it started stalling and...

Meanwhile left from work and bike felt really wobbly, pulled over and yep flat rear tyre! >:( Tube is all cut up now... The old tube was 3.00/2.75-18... I have a spare 3.00/3.25-18 - would there be much difference or ok to fit? Mite change the rear wheel bearing while I have the wheel...

Hi, My starter motor was removed by the previous owner, but there is still the other bit where the motor goes into (don't know what its called). The black bit in the picture. Can this also be removed???

Well wired it up and went for a spin. Not sure if its running any different....

I posted in the "ELECTRICAL" forum section. Another suggestion was a electronic tacho pickup...?

Thanks guys. Interesting, now to find which tacho it's from. It only has one wire out of it, unless somethings missing. Has a sticker "Chwan Tay" on it, googling that produces nothing close.

Slightly off topic but this came with a bunch of parts when I bought my Ace. No idea what it is. My guess is its some sort of coil, spark plug fits in the black bit. Tried to google for it, but not much luck.

Is it worth upgrading the levers, specifically the brake lever? (My plastic reservoir is leaking a bit too) Something like this OK...

I got the combined switch in your first picture from oo - turns out it was not quite "plug and play". https://www.ooracing.com/store/index.php?_a=product&product_id=1661 is only £16.00 where as the "all in one" kit they sell with the starter switch (that I don't need as my starter is removed)...

Damn, I just bought the ooracing kit yesterday... didn't think the ebay ones fit... is this one cheaper?
