Thanks Swag. Yep, I got the idea after looking at your set up and gixxerusa's 400 build...

I was hoping to go through with it but the rest of the 250 parts did not pan out. I am on a tight budget and can't go chasing parts at this point. Would...
It is 7-3/8" from the bottom of the stem to the bottom of the threads. The forks are 29-7/8" from the middle of the axle to the top of the fork. Not sure if that helps?
Sorry for the crap cell pics...
I got these forks off of a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. I was going to use them on my CB175 build but have decided to go with the stock forks. Anyone have any interest in them? I am in Southern California. Would like to get $120 for them. I would rather they were picked up local but I can...
I'd stick with Japanese but that's me. I'm in Ladera Ranch or MV area. I'm working on getting my 69 CB 175 back on the road. Great riding in this area. Let me know if you need a hand with anything.
Guys I have been looking for a petcock rebuild kit for my 175 but haven't found anything. I saw that Bike Bandit has a bunch of gaskets and what-not, but not sure if that is a complete rebuild kit. Either that or I use a new one from ebay??
Great work so far. Congrats on the little one! My little guys have slowed progress on my bike as well but I don't mind. Looking forward to see how this turns out. Cheers!
Johnny- I am in Ladera Ranch and just started messing around with my '70 CB175. Let me know if you need help with anything or want to hit up the swap meet one of these days.

I can post a reply with my iPhone 4 as well but a no-go with the iPad. I don't know why it would be different, but it is. Yes I am a huge geek with all my gadgets! Happy new year!
I am having trouble using my iPad as well. I have noticed that if you do the quick reply below it will work, but not if you hit the reply button and go to a new page. Also some of the images are only showing some of the picture or not at all. Let me know if this is what is happening for you.
Re: Natalie Portman vs. Mila Kunis (Black Swan content)
Well now I'm pissed I didn't let my Wife talk me into seeing this movie last Friday. Thank you sir.
Yeah that was a concern. It doesn't look like it in the picture but there is about 3 inches of travel between the tire and light. You are probably right that under rider load and a good bump will probably take it out. I have another 2.5" round light that I am going to try and tuck up there...
Sorry for the picture quality guys. Also I looked everywhere for a cool tail light and ultimately nothing is cheaper than going with what you've got. It is goofy but I flipped the light and built a bracket to tuck it under the seat pan. Let me know what you think.
Quick update w/ some pics. Got new smaller turn signals and cleaned up the wiring a bit. I am cleaning out the tank this weekend and should be set to enjoy some road time. I know some things look a little funky but I just want to get her on the road. Hopefully by next winter I will get some more...
