No that is actually the back part of the gas tank since I bought a new one for the bike. I cut up the back of the old gas tank and welded it onto the original seat pan.

I actually built it, its the original seat pan and the back of the original gas tank. Its easy to make if you have another tank.

Thanks for the complements guys performance wise I cut the pipes and am putting pods on. I have found out that a 1982 gs550 katana stage 3 kit from DJ will work perfect with my set up. I have changed the oil and filter checked the valves and as of now waiting for a new starter the magnets in...

what did you use for clear? and hw do you like it?

Well I am finally thinking more about paint what do some of you guys use for paint? Duplicolor is really the only paint I know of, what else is there and what do you guys do for clear on your tanks I have read some stuff on gas peeling paint and what not. Any help would be appreciated

MAKR Where you put your battery is what I was thinking of doing but I really want to make it so I can take the cafe seat off and put the stock seat or something like it back on so the GF can be on the back when she wants to. I wonder if I can find a flat battery?? well like 3 inches tall

Re: Project: Pariah - CJ360T Ive got the same welder I am using on my project the GS550. It leaves real ugly welds and get better wire flux. The wire that comes with it is crap I bought some different stuff when I ran out of it and its night and day difference no clue why still a noob on welding.
