agreed the 360 the OP is talking about looks to be a little past a fixer upper, might be more of a headache. The KZ looks to be something u might have a runner out of a little easier.
Personally, wait around, a good deal will show up.
Just took the cutoff wheel to my CB360 fender, basically ended up looking exactly like 73750K's fender on his bike, but I spray bombed mine black to match my bike. 8)
one thing to remember, the OP is asking about a FIRST bike.... not sure a 1000cc bike is a great first bike. That is a lot of CCs, and personally if I was a beginning rider I would think that is a little too powerful. Most people recommend bikes under 500cc as beginner bikes.

thanks for the compliments.
as for handlebars, those superbike bars look like they would fit the bill nicely. thanks for the info.
as for the preload, please explain. I just dropped the rear shocks to the lower setting so they would match the lowered front end. By doing so this made my preload...
Well thanks. The exhaust is nothing special, just the 25dollar cheapy short mufflers out of JC Whitney. I believe they are a universal muffler. I had to make some cuts in the end that slid over the stock pipes so that I could clamp it down, worked out good, don't notice any leaks. It sounds like...
