    REQUEST: Photographers please read

All of the above, and more! One tricky picture is this...a bike in bits and pieces. Ok, it shouldn't be in a million pieces, but a picture of a bike being worked on in someone's home garage would be awesome. I'm imagining a black and white photo of this bike in the middle of the garage, parts...

    Does this come off?

Thanks again Rich. I guess I'll stick with the muffler for a little while until I figure out a good way to go about this. But thanks to Harley country being just North of where I live, the cops are pretty lax about loud mufflers around here. I can go that route if I ever feel like it :)...

    Does this come off?

Thanks for the reply, Rich! So that sleeve thats in that middle of the picture there is welded on? Is my only option to cut this, then slip on a muffler? I wanted a small, slime muffler to be on each header, but do you have any advice for doing that? Is riding without a muffler going to be...

    Does this come off?

I'm trying to separate the muffler from the rest of the header since there are some rusted through parts on the muffler. Anyone know how this comes off? There's a section between the header and the muffler there that looks like it will come off...looks like the previous owner had the same...

72 CL175...Where is the manual for this screwdriver?

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm getting a huge backlash from people telling me not to mess with this bike. I appreciate your opinion but..... Just kidding. First order of business is to get the bike running right. To start us off on this exciting project is an exciting part and an equally...

72 CL175...Where is the manual for this screwdriver?

So my history of tinkering on bikes is pretty short. It started 2.5 years ago when I picked up an $800 Ninja 250 that I cleaned the carbs on and "somehow" brought it back to life. That's, at least, how I felt back then. Since then, I've done a few more maintenance things that's intimidated...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! And thanks to krukster for getting me into this mess... It's icy and snowy outside and there is more snow in the forecast for the Chicagoland area. Once this storm goes through, out goes the Subaru onto the street and into the garage goes the CL175. The...

Hey there! I'm a proud new owner of a 1972 Honda CL175. Picked up this nice condition bike for $600 with some spare parts...good enough for me to buy it! Plans are to get it back in tip top shape and to do some cafe style things...I am such a sucker for it. First thing to do will be clubman...
