I'm trying to separate the muffler from the rest of the header since there are some rusted through parts on the muffler. Anyone know how this comes off?
There's a section between the header and the muffler there that looks like it will come off...looks like the previous owner had the same...
So my history of tinkering on bikes is pretty short. It started 2.5 years ago when I picked up an $800 Ninja 250 that I cleaned the carbs on and "somehow" brought it back to life. That's, at least, how I felt back then.
Since then, I've done a few more maintenance things that's intimidated...

Plans are to get it back in tip top shape and to do some cafe style things...I am such a sucker for it. First thing to do will be clubman...
