    JR, I ordered fasteners for the whole engine, so that is where the $100 number came from. Just the side cover fasteners should be about $20 plus shipping??

    Looking Good!!!! The DCC tail loop is definetly the way to go. I tried to get one made locally and the guy wanted $275 just to set up the bender WTF :o Any issues with the tire sizes? I plan on doing the same on the front, but a 120/80-18 on the rear.

    I will try and find that list and get it posted ASAP. According to my research and the guys at Pro-Bolt, aluminum is OK for side covers and cosmetic stuff. DO NOT use on anything structural though, i.e. engine mounts. I am by no means an expert, so maybe someone else can chime in?

    Got my wheels laced up last night. A little overwhealming at first, but once i got everything layed out and organized it went preatty well. I got them pretty well trued up, once I get tires on them I will bring them to a shop to get them fine tuned and balanced. Triple waiting for forks...

    I thought so, they are great dogs. I grew up with Shorthairs, and have a 2 yr old Wirehair now who likes to eat Bondo. Talk about a mess trying to get it out of her beard before it dried! Anyways good luck on the bike project i will be following to see what you come up with. Cheers, Mike
