right now i use an aftermarket car mounting system that has a bendable rod with a suction cup on the end. I cut the cup off, capped the end and wrapped it to hold to the triple tree with a few hidden zip ties. I want to do something alittle less bulky and lower profile though

Strip of vinyl and a piece of cord or string. You can wrap the vinyl around the string and staple or glue the ends. then add between the two pieces. It's not as hard as it may look.

So I finished the battery mount. I did some fab to the origional battery box to accept the battery in a width wise configuration. Painted black. I decided to us an old belt to mount the battery. I like the look with this bike. I always have an extra old belt in the closet if I need to...

Also added some piping/trim between the bum stop pad and the metal edge. It needed the extra detail.

Thanks Oosham. Yeah I will be water proofing the wires and shielding components from the water. I removed the battery box and also cut out the battery box support between both sides of the frame. The whole are is clean and open. You really can't see the electronics when the seat is on...
