Nice color! It's hard to get a good powder color since you have to go with what's available. Did my thruxton swap rims in gold and there were like 2 choices. Is there a color code or manufacture name for that color?
Awesome! Looking forward to seeing the results! I had to pound the tunnel of the cb77 tank as well to try and get it to sit lower using a round piece that fit in the tunnel, know what your going through but it is so worth it
Like Johnu said, maybe you could get the tunnel cut and modified, especially if the metal is in good shape shouldn't be too bad to weld, that tank would really make the bike
Looking good! Really enjoyed reading through the build so far. Hope the cb 160 tank works out for you, really like the look. I used a cb77 tank on my cl and i am happy with it. The tunnel was wide enough but not really deep enough.
Been riding my thruxton and cb350 around spokane, does not seem to be many bikes around apart from rockets and Harley's, anyone else ride here? Would be fun to ride with people who also ride cafe/tracker/ bobber bikes. Maybe set up a ride of some sort.
Love this build! On my cb I used Dyna 3 ohm coils, it does have a custom harness although using the stock wire gauge. I don't know if it helps but I have no problems with power output. Even using a dying battery right now that barely lights the headlight the bike fires on the first kick and...
