Issue centering this comstar wheel

Thanks for the kind words, the bike came out well I'm happy and that was almost ten years ago. The hardware came right from an aircraft supply house, aircraft guys are real picky so I thought it would do the job and it did. At first I called an aftermarket wheel manufacturer thinking that their modular wheels bolt together so why not? They wouldn't sell because of liability.
If that were my wheel setup I would mount everything wheel, calipers, rotors, and leave the axle spacers out. Align the wheel simply by moving it L or R and measure from the edge (flat flange) to the chrome fork tube. Actually if you could apply the brakes (with new pads) the wheel would have to center itself. I've done that when aligning rear brake calipers using the caliper as a clamp.
Cheers, 50gary

Well that's the problem .... the flanges are different lengths. (one side had speedo boss one did not). The only thing that is "centered" is the rotor mounting surfaces .... but they are clearly not in line with the bearings where the spacers go.

it's ok .... i am about 4-5mm off, so all i have to do is cut one of the spacers 2.5mm and make another for the other side that is 2.5mm longer And it will be fine.
