Yes, the axle moves for and aft in 4" increments. It is held on to the frame with 6 bolts. Long story short I got home from work , hooked up the trailer and drove straight up to Cleveland. By the time I got up there it was start, 32 degrees and once we got the bike loaded up I wasn't about to take it back off unbolt the axle and move it. Now if I ever plan to haul a bike this heavy much farther again I will try to be a little more proactive on the trailer setup. That is the exact deal I got on this one Mike. Titled for $250. I know the guy that I got it from and he said it last ran 6 years ago when it was parked. The inside of the tank is clean as a button and I really don't think it'll take much to get going again. It may end up being a very mild custom as the market is not very hot on the special but it is a springtime flipper.
