At a 1,000 bucks you stole it. Lack of title might be an issue but plastics are easy to replace or repair. That's a lot of motorcycle for very few dollars.

Been looking for a long time, but finally got a dump truck for the farm. The brothers and I needed it because we are building houses and shops/hay barns in rocky terrain. Which means we have to bring in lots of rock and fill dirt, which happened to be easier/cheaper if you have your own truck.

Cool. Always been a Mack fan. R models are tough machines. A buddy just got an early 40's diesel L model from his grandfather who had 5 of them.

Maritime that thing is beautiful! I went up to Maine to take a Timber framing class, and the teacher up there had a mack really similar to that. He restored it, put in a 12 valve cummins and used it to haul his finished timbers to job sites. It even had A/C, it was so cool

This one has the original straight six. about 100 HP I think. I got to drive it to the restoration guy, it was fun. We had to flatbed it home to keep it clean due to weather. The pic is from a customer/vendors place who is storing it for us until we build a home for it on our property someplace. Was a fun project to help with for sure. I think I've seen the truck you are talking about. I am in Maine all the time and we travel all over. My inlaws were looking at timber framing a house at one point and we visited 3-4 folks in Maine checking out their products. I remember a guy having an older Mack in his yard.

speaking of Macks, we had this restored for a parade truck. Company started in 1950 and we turn 70 this year. 1950 Mack truck that would have been used for the deliveries at the time.

Very nice. I am working out a deal on a 49 Chevy 2 ton similarly sized. It is in a hoarders barn since the late 70's or early 80's. No where near this nice though.

kool, this one was partially restored when we found it. it was clean and ran/drove so all we needed was to have the paint done to match old photo's of the original company trucks and had the bed made for carrying folks in parades. the sides and floor is 2" thick oak and the guy did a great job. IDK the final cost but the guy went over and above what he needed to do and didn't take any extra for it. We are the largest employer in the town and he was local. lot of history involved and this thing is making a lot of folks smile when they see it so it's great. It's so nice I'm afraid to drive it, don't want to scratch it at all.

I love these, want to own one someday. Please tell me you will remove the stupid headlight and chuck it in the bin and put something better on it.

I removed the stupid ugly headlight this morning. Going with a 5 3/4 round and probably a small windscreen.
