Mother's day is going to require other gifts this year...

I wish I could post a picture of my mom with one of my bikes, but she has been gone for a long time. Appreciate your moms!

Farm outside of Centerburg (North of Columbus) until I was almost 8.

That's cool. Levi and I are around ~60 miles north of Columbus.

I use to have a picture that I wanted to post for this but I looked around and don't think I have a copy of it any more. Back in the early '50s before I was born one of my uncles owned a motorcycle (Harley or Indian?) as his only vehicle. He needed a car for some reason, borrowed my dad's, and left his bike. Come the next Sunday morning, my dad, being who he was, didn't want to miss church so he piled the whole family on to the uncle's bike. The picture showed 7 year old Stu on the tank, then dad, 5 year old Phil, mother, then 9 year old Mike on the back. They made a very leisurely 5 mile trip to the church and then 7 miles to my grandmother's. Wish I still had the pix. Different times for sure.

You sure your folks weren't Indian? (South Asia version) I was born in Mt. Vernon.

Yep, my mom lived in Mt Vernon until the mid-60s. They lived in Maximo too. They moved to Algonac, Michigan around 1967-8.

We lived near Cleveland for 6 years in the 80s. We first lived in Northfield and then moved to Macedonia...about 5 miles. I worked in Cleveland and my wife worked in the world famous town of Twinsburg. She was the office manager for a real estate company and then became the office manger for a publishing company. I was on active duty with the Army and worked part time at several different places, Harry's Farm, The V8 Shop in Bedford (32-40 Fords baby!), and Red Feather Classics (Cobra clone builders).
