Latest project - Suzonda WTF200/2 in progress

Nearly at the finish post now !!! Nice job.

Funny I had the same issue with my powder coater. He did the frame and I had some other parts done separately and he used the wrong Red ... then to compound the problem he gave me that RAL code for my paint. !

It's one of those ball breaking moments you'd really rather avoid...but ce la vie as they say.
I didn't feel comfortable ripping all the money back of the powder guy, he did do a nice job on the wheels and they are the correct white, so offered him a deal.
He gives me £50 (the cost of the correct paint) and blasts my frame when I strip the bike down again. That way, he isn't totally out of pocket, and blasting the frame is just his time and a bit of media...plus I'd be asking him to blast it anyway....he's happy and so am I.

The bodywork is going off this Friday to be painted over the weekend...I hope??

In other news....the bloody thing runs!!

My lad visited for Dad's Day and finalised the wiring so we could give it a go.....see video.

We'd given it a couple of spins to no avail...then gave it a squirt of 'Start ya Bastard' and it came to life...yay :)
The knocking is an exhaust blow at the exit post, one bolt holding a two bolt flange in place.

Thanks fellas, it's a major part accomplished...but still a ways to go yet. I'd like it to run around the block and then the strip down for the frame to be blasted/painted and then the meticulous final build up....:)

Trimmer delivered on the seat and tank pad. I'm very pleased.

When I did my first suede seat [ Le mans ] peeps said "what if it rains" .... my answer " It's OK my garage doesn't leak"

Haha...I'm hoping the waterproof agent will resist moisture/rain....as I hope I will too.

520 Regina Gold chain has arrived.

Bodywork/tank off for paint today.

Just the front caliper to chase and I might be close to a primary run around the block...yay!
