Very nice. I love the concept of new motors in classic frames. Will the frame be strong enough and rigid enough for the power of the motor though? Any extra bracing required?

the motor and accessories are half thE weight of all of the original gear. The mounts for the engine and footpegs are 4mm steel and welded to the frame.

That thing is going to move with that motor. I've got a 250 fourstroke KTM and it'll go over 90mph and get there in a hurry. The 450s I've ridden want to wheelie in 1st-3rd unless I sit on the tank and lean forward. Only downside I see is the short maintenance schedule on them.

Great idea. Should be able to fit the radiator inside the frame by the look of how the engine is sitting.

I used a 2013 CRB250R radiator. i retained the factory mounts and it bolted to the CB horn bolt hole. Then just made a lower mount to suit.
the CBR bottom hose Was shortened and fit straight on.
the top was half the CBR then a 20mm 90degree bend with a joiner.

Footpegs and Exhaust.
I used original KX 450 footpegs and Exhaust.
The footpegs where used for ease of fabrication as they use a steel mounting bracket.
The exhaust I got for $100 brand new second hand, I cut about 150mm out of the muffler and mounted it underneath directly into the old CB footpeg mounting hole using an M8 bolt.
The header I cut the first bend and straightened it out to the angle I needed and filled it in.
I bought a 13/8" 90 degree mandrel bend to form the bottom bend.
The complete exhaust cost $115.
