CB350 ground up build

some fun progress, I've finished the remaining bent tube parts for the frame, I had to do some multi angle copes on the engine mount tubes, so I 3d printed some "jigs" to hold the tube down at the right angle and hole saw it on the bridgeport, test fitting with the crankcase proved they work pretty well, using 3d printing to build weldments right off the computer seems to be a good idea, I could probably even see using prints to hold two tubes in position for tacking as well, the possibilities!

Looks great. I don't imagine there would be much flex in that frame. I'm no expert, but it seems to me that w/ the right suspension parts, good tires, and all set up well the thing would be rock solid and very predictable in the twisties.

check out "desert hybrids", I got the plans there, there are some things I would change, like increasing the crankshaft diameter (it flexes too much when thumbnail shrinking). but otherwise it's a good set of plans to start from.
