The project bikes have been sitting, as I've been starting the process of redoing my dads(now mine) '66 Fargo wagon. Nobody makes anything for these things when it comes to sheet so you have to do some digging to find donors. Last fridays purchase. I think I'm covered now :)

Actually, they did have it in some 700 series. Those are the numbers I found searching a couple nights ago. There was an Air Force truck with matching numbers, identical to mine with a 354 that sold in 2012. I don't mean to argue, I just know there must have been a few. Most sites I looked...
It's actually a 354. Largest they had in the trucks. I'm surprised it was that cheap as well. Especially when it was 3 miles from an industrial metal scrapper. Deciding now whether I'll do a built 318 poly or the hemi for the wagon.

She not pretty but for 150 bucks it'll have some stuff I can rob for my wagon. Plus, unbeknownst to me, post purchase I popped the hood and it had a hemi :)

Ya I'll have to track one down. The red wire vanishes into the wiring harness. So unless I take it completely apart it will be tough to trace. Theoretically I should have 14 volts or thereabouts coming from that wire correct?

I tested the stator thoroughly this evening and it seems to be fine. Putting out 60+volts on all three wires. I cannot find any sort of lead going from the r/r to the battery though. The only thing off the positive terminal currently is the lead to the fuse box. I feel like that isn't right...
