Good job on the progress. Mine will be going under the knife soon. Debating if I should weld the new subframe directly or have it removable. Any reason why you chose the latter?
Looking forward to seeing yours completed. I'll eventually make my own build thread.
I have a cb900 supersport I'm building and putting GSXR carbs as well. Curious to know if you put any copper piping in the marine tube. I know the guys on CB1100f forum put inserts when using radiator hose.
Like the build so far and can't wait to see the outcome.
They're actually down the street from my work. Wondered about them since most of their fab work shows as being off road trucks/cars.
I'll have to stop by there and chat them up about my project.
Anyone have recommendations on a shop to do some welding in Orange County? Cutting my subframe off and want to build a new one since I'm planning to monoshock my cb900 ss.
I'd just get separate body armor. I have the Bohn armor pants to wear under jeans. They have a shirt version as well with elbow, shoulder, and back armor.
You'll have to do some fabrication to get spokes wheels onto the cb900f.
The 750 wheels would be the best bet. Forgot the exact years, but there's one with a disc rear wheel as well as front. Other option I've seen is going Ducati Classic or swap a GL1000 front end.
Very nice. One of my best friends has one and its amazing how much attention it gets. I'm in Newport Beach, land of exotics, and it still turns heads.
Have you seen the Ronin Lotus on YouTube? If not look it up.
