I've got an early pair of mikuni vm17-18 carbs that I need some parts for and they look great nice and easy to work on the only problem is I can't seem the find rebuild kits for them.... my floats bad in one of them and I'm not the most motorcycle savy person on here

I have a set of mikuni vm17-18 on my bike and I know there on several other bikes. The problem is I don't know which ones they are.... another thing is I'm wondering if I can use another carb set rather than the vm17-18 on a 175dt bridgestone

go to bridgestoneparts.com and try to score a dt175 in that shape that runs for less than a grand and then post a comment. I have a dt 175 and parts alone will run ya a pretty penny. Besides bridgestone are becoming pretty rare bikes...idk I just love my...
I've been using a smart phone and it don't allow me to post pics...so as soon as I get to a computer I will post a pic and BTW I like your idea about bolt ons...that depends if I can get this motor running

yea I've done research and its worth a pretty penny but I want something different that no one else has. A moded bridgestone would def be different
