Suzuki GN400 1.0 mm over pistons

Hey All, My shop is redoing a motor on a 1981 GN400TX. We had to order a custom oversized piston from Arias to finish the project, but the minimum order is four. So, I have 3 separate 1.0mm Over piston sets for sale. Includes include rings, pin and circlips. They are going to go...

Resurrecting this thread. I'd love to see how you did this swap! I want to make a vintage-motard bike out of my 1975 xl250.

Visiting my brothers in NYC (Brooklyn). Shops to recommend?

I have the basic ones (Moto Borgotaro, and Works Engineering) and I'll be at Matchless Monday the 13th but can any one recommend any other vintage motorcycle shops or places with cool old parts or good places to find collectable vintage gear (jackets like Belstaff, cool boots, or old helmets)...

I've been gone for a while. Started my own shop. Our first bike. XS650

It has a battery mounted to the rear swing arm. Hidden but the electric start works well. The tins have been in about the same state, uncleared for a year and haven't rusted much. It's NM so it's very dry here. I just polish it every so often with some natural oil/wax stuff.

Also this was a pretty quick/cheap build. We need to pay rent soon. But we did try to focus on work that would make the bike reliable and rideable versus crazy performance or aesthetic stuff. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Ted! Yeah the grips aren't my favorite. I like the vintage moto gp style balloon grips. Also I didn't notice they were backward! Damn. Also the lack of a front fender is a pain. I rode to the shoot in the rain and I was soaked. I'm looking at throwing at least an aluminum brace on...

I've been gone for a while. Started my own shop. Our first bike. XS650

Hey all! I've been gone for almost a year. Started a new shop (well actually 2 out here in Albuquerque!). This is the first bike of many we have getting ready to come out (first through the shop that is). 1975 XS650. Let me know what ya think, good, bad, whatever. Thanks! Ethan...

Recommend a track stand for a Buell

My friend's GF is looking for a present for his birthday. He has mentioned he wants a stand for his Buell. Any suggestions and recommendations? I think it's a cyclone but I'm not sure. Thanks guys and gals!

So a hard question to answer. 1982 Suzuki GS1100E value?

Yeah the leak might be a more "normal" leak and not a head gasket and it looks pretty heavy. Guess I'm just being cautious (some would call it pessimistic).

KeV, what would you want for them shipped to 87108?

So a hard question to answer. 1982 Suzuki GS1100E value?

I recently got a 82 Suzuki GS1100E. Bike is clean as hell but needs a new head gasket and probably a carb (all 4) rebuild. It'll turn over with the new battery and run for a bit on starter fluid. It's totally complete and has a title and new paint. Any idea what it's worth? Looks similar to...
