CB750 beautiful cafe with 900cc race motor

1976 CB750 truly well built. Cafe with custom bodywork, leather seat, performance suspension, trick brakes, and a bad ass 900cc race-built motor. My reserve is $5k, which is less than what I spent just building the motor. This is one of my bikes: http://r.ebay.com/kQoPFW Peace and grease, -Fang

I built a CB750 dual disc spoked front tonight -PICS

Yep, still available. In fact I am 99% done building another 900cc big bore motor for this bike. (The last one had a drive chain break and fling through the cases, doing above-average damage....)

    Invisible Helmet

In the last few years there's been a HUGE surge in worn, airbag-assisted personal protection gear. Jackets, vests, now helmet/collars. While this is still an infant technology, I would venture to guess that in 5 years it will be commonplace to find airbags available in most all of our gear...

    915cc cb750 engine installed

Hi Tweaking, You have a really good looking engine build. It definitely is ALL OUT! I actually am in the middle of an almost identical build _Mr Rieck's stage 4 head, APE super crank (w/ Carillos), CCC HD primary chains, big bore, etc.... I personally understand the cost and love required...

Winvirus. I am in the middle of other stuff, but I should be able to get you additional info... but not tonight. The short version is that I used the exact things that are listed above. If you re-read the first post, a materials list is there. I am still driving this bike, and the brakes...

    CB750 Fork Re-assembly Issue!

Some pictures would help. By fork holders, do you mean the lower sliders? If so then the new forks might be from are from a 77-81 cb750.

can you sand blast valves and piston tops?

+1 wire wheel on bench grinder. Doubly so after letting stuff soak. The wheel will take all that baked on carbon right off. There are lots of theories about smooth vs textured intakes, exhausts, pistons, combustion chambers, etc. However, I would suggest simply cleaning everything, and...

Lacing up aftermarket alloy rims. Long winded photo walkthrough.

Swan, Thanks for your comments and your concern. Also, thanks for the link you PM'ed me pointing me to the very fine article on wheel building by John Healy, who is the owner of the Triumph Int'l. Owners Club, and presumably is a more knowledgeable and experienced chap than I...

Lacing up aftermarket alloy rims. Long winded photo walkthrough.

Ramrod, With the truing stand it is quick and easy to balance the wheels. I happened to have a couple spoke weights in my tool box, so I went ahead and balanced it. It is not some fancy digital balancer, but the bike felt just fine at 100mph. When I replace the tire in a few months I'll...

Re: Lacing up aftermarket alloy rims. Photo walkthrough. Before and after pics: Just in case you can't tell, before is on top, after is on bottom: WOW, and that is what I call a BIG change! NOT. Here is another: "Soon this will be so slightly different that most people won't...
