To me it seems that the camshaft is 180 degrees off... the lobes are on top. if the picture is on cyl 1?

Just try mount it a little closer to the rider ,then you can angle it up some more. 1/2" to 1" closer to the stearing nut will do the trick. maybe it look wrong? i dont know..

If you dont have a CV carb there is no problem w a pod filter other than jetting it correct. :)

you coud grind down the 525 sprocket to 520? or use a lathe? 520 is just a tad narrower?

whit the charging system of a motorbike i find it a must to have some sort of balancing of the cells. the lifeP04 batteries crank out massive amps-i use a 2Ah battery on my fzr1000 build and it workes great-it has built in balancing and i use a lifeP04 spesial charger at the garage.

Yeah -she is a heavy girl.... ;) But when she is rolling she is a stable bike. just dont close the throttle quick if you have a hefty lean in a turn.... ;D

If you place all your weight on the foot that you have on the lever on the centerstand-you dont use a lot of force to lift bike up on centerstand

As long as you have a feedheight of a foot or 2 your good. ;) only reason for the pump is the high mount of the carbs relative to the tank.

What about air filter? my XL600 stops dead in its tracks at 5000rpm WOT with those popular steelmesh-podfilters.replaced them w longer runners with foamfilter on end-7500rpm clean.. Try removing the airfilter/snorkel.
