Almost finished out of the box CM400t *VERY pic heavy*

I love that seat/cowl/tail light setup. Looks really good on there.

    Badass xs650

From the time and effort that I've seen go into a paint job like that, "if you have to ask, it's too much" is the first answer that comes to mind. $2000 wouldn't surprise me on the bottom end of the scale. I also wouldn't be terribly surprised to have an experienced painter quote well north of...

How do i get Harley wheels to fit my GSXR forks?

You might be able to find some conversion wheel bearings that have the "standard" outer dimension and a metric inner dimension. Unfortunately as I've never sourced them myself, I can't tell you where to look, but I've been told there's a good chance they're "out there" somewhere.

Stuck at last step of CB350 restomod - slipping forks

Get the bike on stands or an atv lift, something that will allow you to remove the front wheel. Loosen the upper and lower tree bolts on one fork tube, and rotate the tube as you slide it up in the trees. Tighten those bolts down when you've got the fork tube where you want it. Do the same...

1986 Yamaha Venture Royale "Project: Freightliner" DONE WITH BONUS TRAILER

Haha, Ventures and trailers... like Peanut Butter and Jelly... I narrowed that HF trailer kit by about 4-6" and probably shortened it by about 4" (cut down to fit the topper exactly), extended the tongue about 20", added a rack for the cooler, and changed to LED lights. Ended up selling it...

    2001 XL883 Sportster Mild Cafe - $4k

Nice. I wish I had the money (or space in the stable). Good luck, it is beautiful. Do you have a build thread on it? I'm curious about some of the components...

    Seadoo to Motorcycle trailer conversion

I don't see why it couldn't be done. I started to type up a reply but I think I misunderstood where you were going with it. If you're looking at doing a single-bike setup, it would probably be as easy as fabricating in a single piece of c-channel in the middle with a wheel chock on one end, and...

    TURBO POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRR On a 250?

I knew a guy who used a smog pump off an older v8 as a supercharger on a pit bike, don't know if it would move enough air to be beneficial to anything over 100cc though.

The Xt400 side car (winter project)

I don't know how often you might be wanting to remove the sidecar, but one idea I'd had about the car brake is using a quick-connect line fitting on the sidecar line. I don't know how hard it would be to get one, but I thought to use one while working on my brother's Ford Ranger. The hydraulic...

    Hello from Houston, TX

Hey guys I'm not on a cafe currently, but I hang out with a lot of British bike owners and have kind of gotten the bug. My current ride is an '87 Yamaha Venture that's pushing 100k miles (about 15k of that is mine from the last year) but has been stripped of all plastics and is about to get...

1986 Yamaha Venture Royale "Project: Freightliner" DONE WITH BONUS TRAILER

Re: 1986 Yamaha Venture Royale "Project: Freightliner" Hey there, I found your thread through a google search for info on de-linking the brakes, and when I saw the thread was on a forum called "dotheton" I just had to check it out. I like what you've done with it so far, I think I'm kind of...
