dropped my stock top tree last night and broke the bitch. :-\ So i'm placing an order @ DCC for a new top tree and some vortex bars ;D (or woodcraft? any pros/cons?)
not wanting to mess with physics (she'll win every time..eventually) I'm wanting to replace with STOCK...
i have (had) a 73 GT185K Adventurer. until the engine got stolen outta my garage. been trying to find a replacement slug for it for a few years. nothing in the any of the yards around the state (yes STATE, not city) and all on ebay are 700-1000 for the engine sans carbs. just sitting there...

My left control has come to its end, I lost the clicky action in the blinker switch.. either the spring broke or the ball on the switch plate hopped out etc etc...so...

was he talking back pressure back then? wasn't the back pressure to ensure the lead in the gas coated the valve seats?
