    Fuel Petcock 3/8" - $5 to a good home

Brand new round 3/8" petcock. I purchased this along with a Pingel adapter to use on my GS650, but ended up going with an OEM one. This has been sitting around for a good 3 years in the package. I don't want to throw it out, so if it can be put to use, I just ask $5 to ship it in the US.

    Slipstream Universal Rearsets SOLD

SOLD! I purchased this set two and a half years ago, and I still haven't gotten around to installing them. They are brand new, non-folding pegs, and have just been sitting around collecting dust. $60 shipped within the continental US.

83 Suzuki GS650 Shafty - Better Late Than Never

The K&N ones? I forgot to post that I switched over to UNI filters. But the K&N ones are RC-2382. The BS32SS carbs have a 53mm intake diameter. The center to center between carb 1 and 2 and between carb 3 and 4 is 75mm.

83 Suzuki GS650 Shafty - Better Late Than Never

I haven't worked much on the bike, but I just swapped out the 160 mains with 155 (these are Dynojet which is why the numbers seem so huge). I'm still pulling about 12.0 AFR WOT which is a tad rich, but man the cruise and part throttle are pig rich (like high 9's to mid 10's). I'll cruise...

83 Suzuki GS650 Shafty - Better Late Than Never

Minor update. I splurged and got a Zeitronix Zt-3 wideband sensor and gauge to aid in tuning. We'll see how well it works. The sad part is the welder dropped the muffler which put some dents in it, and seemed to put a little too much heat into the weld. So the plan is to use this muffler for...

Electronic tach issues still with dyna S SOLVED

Interesting, but I'm wondering how fast the 7805 is able to switch on and off. I'm looking at a Schmitt trigger as an option, and it's really sad how I can't wrap my head around basic electrical circuits.

Electronic tach issues still with dyna S SOLVED

Sorry to bump this one guys, but this is a great conversation. I'm having this same issue with my Trail Tech Vapor to the point that the tachometer is completely useless. Working with their tech support I've tried wrapping the wire with different numbers of wraps, directly connecting to the...

83 Suzuki GS650 Shafty - Better Late Than Never

Well, I can't say I know what I'm doing with this thing. Tossed some black paint on my fender-turned-windscreen just to get a feel for it and I don't like the look. I'm going to try matching the brushed metal look of the tank and I think it will blend better, but I want to try just a standard...

    GS650E First build

Looking good! Thanks for the larger picture. The tank looks pretty good for just a wrap. Although painting them yourself isn't very hard if you ever want to go that route.

83 Suzuki GS650 Shafty - Better Late Than Never

Yay, another one of us! 1.) I'm not sure on the year, but I can tell it's the same as this tank - http://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-Suzuki-GS850-G-S633-gas-fuel-petrol-tank-/231954889611. I saw this on Ebay and almost bought it, just to have another just in case. There are so many different...
